September 22nd, 2015 - Passed on a little buck this morning watched him for about 15 minutes even grunted him back one time within 10 feet of stand. Little while later listening to deer grunting and a doe came in watched her for about 30 minutes, she is 30 yards in photos, neat to watch her work a mineral lick. She eventually came went down trail started to pull back but she turned into wood going away about 10 feet from my shooting lane. Very successful first hunt!!!!! Acorns flat coming out of trees this morning, looks like it's going to be a bumper crop this year. Already found one scrape started on the property.

Food plots September 22nd photos

August 14th planted - Appin Forage Turnip, Barkant Forage Turnip, T-Raptor Forage Brassica, and Bonar Forage Rape and since then it has rained 7.45 inches.

September 7th planted - Windam Winter Pea, Wheat, Triticale and Oats and since then it has rained 7.18 inches.

Cool temps, lots of rain even some great stands of clover in spots, everything else has germinated and growing fast. So things are looking really good for this fall and winter food plots.
