Perfect Example that Antlers are Extra! Deer don’t need antlers to survive otherwise doe would not exist.

Broken Leg Buck in 2025 antlers stop growing and all his energy went into survival and fixing the body.  Mother Nature’s Plan – Survive and Breed. High stress level.

Now that he has healed all he can heal the energy went back into antler growth in 2026.

More than likely he would have been a typical 8 pointer in 2025 but instead just a 3-point buck.

Why I prefer to keep pressure off property in June and July keep stress off of antler growth.
