Second Half of Season

Well pulled the 25 year old Jake and two hens from bag at camp, got all the mice out, washed off, garage spray paint refurbished, hammered bronze on body, red on neck, blue on head with brushed over gray paint, yellow all I had for beak. Last photo before grey put on.

Monday he gobble at me a 1:07 p.m., Tuesday Watched him fly out of roost, Wednesday watched him stick his head thru my field fence multiple times, with safety off and bead on his head, but did not shoot. Saturday he decide to gobble on road just 50 yards from this spot. 2 year old that was running with the older bird I killed, he is making it fun. Won't gobble or come to a call. But does gobble.
