Proceedings have been published for all of the Symposia, and except for the second, they are cited as a series. The second Symposium was published by the University of Missouri Press in 1973 and titled "Wild Turkey Management, Current Problems and Programs."

Information from the 3rd National Wild Turkey Symposium in 1975 from these states Utah, New York, Mississippi, Nebraska, California, Nebraska, Texas, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Alabama, and Arizona.
The overall harvest in 1973 increased 29 percent, and the second bird in the bag accounted for 14 percent of the increase.
The bag limit was reduced to one in 1974 and the harvest dropped 12 percent.
