PROGRESS

1930s to 1940s Vintage ski poles, Alpenstocks or “push sticks”
In the 1930s, bamboo ski poles a lighter, yet still strong wood became the preferred material.
The baskets on these vintage ski poles - double rings reed (rattan) and leather straps between.
The best vintage ski poles have a classic ski style “look”. Ski poles with vintage leather straps, and complete rattan baskets.

1891 Addition of Indian Head Penny to Bone Antler Handle Knife

Raccoon Furs and Future Deer and Furs to to on Pack

True Value Trap

Picked this little vintage foot hold trap up for my 1860's Trappers Pack Display.

Has some cool History.

The Animal Trap Co of Lititz PA produced the True Value single longspring trap in 1931-35. No other sizes were made. The trap has double jaws punched from the center of the primary jaw following the process developed by the Diamond Trap Co whom the Animal Trap Co had recently acquired.

Lititz, Pennsylvania. Section of the Animal Trap Company where traps were made before conversion to produce bullets is almost entirely idle; it contains occasional anti-Axis inscription

I assume alot of them turn in as metal for the war effort or just lost to time, not very common find.
